Scale- the smaller hairs constructed from the larger image of microscope image of hair
-microscopic image of hair blown up so viewer can see that that’s what the hair is made of
color- the dress comes from my color palette that I made during the color theory assignment but with a little white added to it. (Its located in the purple column). Since purple is a complement of yellow I made the background yellow from my color palette.
focal point- I think that natural the eye gets drawn to the zoomed in image of the hair and then goes to my hair in the images.
texture- I warped the microscope image of my hair when its a part of my head in the picture so that it creates the curly texture of my hair.
Naturalism/Distortion- I did draw my body with edited microscope image of my hair. so that is I think a bit of naturalism. But I don’t have any facial features and my hair is still very zoomed in in my head. My hair’s diameter isn’t that large in real life.
Sareena, I love the concept of using a mircroscopic image of your hair behind your design idea, although I wish we had seen it in process so that I could have given you feedback. Which image is the FINAL version in the series above? Is it the bottom, center image? Is the yellow background also a close up texture of your hair?
